It seems that if I protect a sheet in my workbook, the password in the Invantive Design settings has to be the same. However, this means that every time I open the workbook, it unprotects my sheet - which is not a problem for me, but will be a problem for other people using this workbook with Inventive (as they need real-time data but not to edit certain fields in the sheet). Can someone advise on this please?
This is intended behaviour.
Via the Model Editor the protection can be controlled by the Model developer, including making cell ranges protected.
Is there some documentation on this? I looked in the Model Editor but it doesn’t seem immediately apparent how to do this.
The current documentation is limited to the tooltips that appear when the mouse hovers over a (?) symbol.
