On Invantive Cloud the GitLab SQL-driver is now available for Power BI and SQL usage. With the GitLab driver metadata of the code in GitLab projects can be quickly retrieved like the project list, tickets but also commits.
The GitLab driver is available in the free Public Data Plan and all Invantive Office and larger subscriptions.
Go through the following steps to access GitLab tables via SQL:
- Choose GitLab as a new database platform.
- Enter the login information and choose “Finish”:
- Note that logging in with TOTP is not currently supported.
- Choose the SQL Editor.
- Run a query as shown to query your own GitLab projects:
