Advies is om de PC te herstarten, Windows Updates bij te werken en nogmaals te proberen.

Is het probleem daarmee opgelost?

Helaas niet: zowel de PC herstart als de Windows Update uitgevoerd maar dezelfde melding blijft verschijnen.

Advies is om een upgrade te plaatsen naar versie 24.0.652. Deze zal dezelfde foutmelding geven, maar naar verwachting ook de achterliggende meldingen die de gebruiker had moeten krijgen.

Deze meldingen worden gezien de callstack onderdrukt op het betrokken apparaat in versies voor 24.0.652.

Upgrade uitgevoerd, en zelfde melding. We kunnen nu al een week niet in Query Tool en dat begint zeer problematisch te worden.

Een verbetering is doorgevoerd waardoor het waarschijnlijker is dat de echte foutmelding getoond wordt, ook als de WPF-installatie kapot is.

De gebruikersmelding is vanaf release 24.0.658 ook zichtbaar als WPF crasht.

Probleem is opgelost, de nieuwe versie gaf in ieder geval inzicht in het daadwerkelijke onderliggende probleem.
