I have schedule my Visma.net database for automatic refresh daily. However the refresh often fails due to Microsoft Azure servers using different IP’s. Is there a way to remedy this without completely disabling the IP whitelisting feature?
There is no known method. Some users prefer to build up an (error sensitive) list of the Azure servers involved from the approximately 250.000 listed by Microsoft.
However, since the Azure servers are a proxy for a very large population of users Invantive’s point of view is that strong authentication in this area is currently not achievable as desired by EU regulation, even with a list of IP addresses on Azure.
It is best to consult your local security officer for recommendations.
