Invantive Cloud records sensitive events as an audit trail.
This audit trail is retained when a subscription expires or someone ceases use. This is in line with “Retention of data” in our privacy policy.
The size of the audit trail has grown considerably over time and with a sharp increase in the number of users. Therefore, part of the audit trail will now be cleaned up according to the following criteria:
- the event involves an event with a positive outcome in line with expectations;
- the event took place at least one month ago;
- there is a more recent event from the same category that is at least one month old;
- all other events, such as a login attempt with an incorrect password, will be retained for a long period of time.
This means that at least one event per category will always remain recorded. The events with a positive outcome that will be deleted are:
