I am using a REST API to Exact Online via Invantive. Then I continuously load the data into a Dataflow in Fabric. The problem is that this dataflow collapses every time and can no longer refresh. Moreover, my Fabric capacity is also overflowing.
I am also in contact with Exact about this. They asked me to provide the following:
the username used to make the call, the Division code and administration name, the client ID of the App, the full HTTP request, the (error) response messages, the body of the call, etc.
Does anyone know where I can find this information? It should be hidden somewhere in Invantive.
I can see that it is an OData connection. Does this change the process? Additionally, I have now downloaded the Query Tool. Which database do I need? Is that Invantive Bridge Online?
No, using an OData connection does not change the process. The OData connection with Invantive Bridge Online is merely the method by which the query reaches the Invantive UniversalSQL engine. The SQL query can be seen in Invantive Bridge Online Monitoring Details and can also reach the engine by entering it in the Query Tool and then pressing Execute, or by using Invantive UniversalSQL Server with SQL Server Management Studio.
If you use Invantive Query Tool, the database must be set up as it is defined in Invantive Cloud.
Most databases have only one data container. In more than 90% of cases, you can probably manage with the Exact Online Netherlands database in the Exact Online group on Invantive Query Tool.
Using the Invantive Bridge Online database is probably not meaningful in this case. You then use the Invantive Query Tool to pass the query to Invantive Cloud via the OData connection, after which execution takes place on Invantive Cloud, and any native call logging also lands within the managed Invantive Cloud environment. With the Exact Online Netherlands database, execution takes place locally, so the native call logging can also be found locally.
