Metabase is a free business intelligence platform (available at https://www.metabase.com).

Metabase provides no driver for many popular cloud platforms such as:

For a realtime connection between these platforms and Metabase, please execute the following steps:

  • Register an Invantive Cloud database for the platform.
  • Copy the hostname from the Invantive Cloud database form listed behind “SQL Server-compatible Server Name”.
  • This hostname is something like fortnox.database.invantive.com.
  • Make sure the Bridge Client IP Address List is set to “*”.
  • On Metabase: register a new datasource.
  • Choose “SQL Server”.
  • Enter the hostname.
  • Enter your Invantive Cloud username.
  • Enter your Invantive Cloud password.
  • Connect.
  • Enjoy the platform on Metabase.
