Policy on Handling Disruptions Caused by Platform Changes

Invantive actively monitors and maintains compatibility between Invantive UniversalSQL and over 90 cloud and on-premises platforms. However, given the unpredictable nature of third-party changes, our policy focuses on rapid response rather than prevention.

Many supported platforms do not offer test environments. Even when they do, it is common that production deployments differ from both their announcements and test outcomes, and often occur at unannounced times. As such, avoiding disruptions proactively is not a viable or effective strategy.

When a disruption arises due to a platform change, our goal is to deliver a fix or workaround within one working day. If that is not possible, we continue to prioritize resolution with high urgency, typically achieving results within a few days.

In some cases, resolution may take significantly longer. This is often the result of:

  • Lack of response from the platform provider,
  • Incorrect or incomplete API documentation,
  • Silent breaking changes or undocumented behavior changes.

Invantive cannot take responsibility for limitations imposed by third-party platforms. Invantive operates within the boundaries set by a platform’s technical and support capabilities.
