Service user with Invantive Credentials Server: need to refresh online database?

As referring to Itgenobr344 : OAuth2 State Error in Query Tool & Data Hub v25.0.227 - Exact Online Connection Failed

Is it mandatory to connect to the online database via Invantive Cloud to maintain the service user working ?

We use our service user daily with Invantive Data Hub and Invantive Credentials Server, but it seems it does not ‘refresh’ the database?

We receive this kind of emails:

Excat Online databases on Invantive Cloud must be accessed at least once per 30 days to ensure that the authorization is not withdrawn.
Please make sure (within the next 7 days) to access your ExactOnlineAll database ‘eol’
For instance you can refresh a Power BI report or open the database on Invantive Cloud using the UniversalSQL editor.
When the database is not accessed within the next 7 days, you will need to refresh the authorization as described in this forum topic.

The use of the Invantive Cloud website itself is not mandatory. Use of the database via Invantive Bridge Online, Invantive App Online, Invantive UniversalSQL Server, Invantive MCP Server, or Invantive Credentials Server should be sufficient to keep the database running.

Can you check in the Invantive Cloud database that the “last opened” date is updated when you use the database from Invantive Data Hub with Invantive Credentials Server?

If you mean Date Last Log On Attempt (UTC): it is NOT updated when the service user connects using Invantive Credentials Server:

  • Database shows: 9/7/2026 2:59:37 PM (Date Last Log On Attempt (UTC))
  • Service User shows 09-09-2026 05:43:12 (Last Bridge Online Login (UTC))

as shown below.

Database

Last log on attempt not moved.

Service User

First and last login not set.

Thank you for the addition.

An analyst will work on an improvement.

The advice for the meantime is to open the UniversalSQL editor from the screen with the database on Invantive Cloud as a workaround.
