A common installation problem experienced by almost all Microsoft Office add-on developers is that installation fails due to a long known Microsoft bug.
Our software has been extended to fix such a problem when found. The “Fix It” button helps you fix an error: “The value of the property ‘type’ cannot be parsed.” caused by VSTOInstaller.exe.config. It moves the file away.
To fix such a problem install Invantive Query Tool and select the “Fix It” button in Diagnostics.
