I am just starting out with power BI and I am interested in using it as a financial tool. My question is: Does anyone have a balance template for me? So i can check how it should be build. I can’t seem to find any templates using Exact-online as a connector. It would really help me out!

You can find a few sample Power BI templates when you log on to Invantive Cloud. See the box Samples in the lower right corner.
