When employees at Teamleader Focus are deactivated (terminated), data such as Business unit (department) and weekly schedules are no longer actively retrieved. As a result, this data is also no longer presented correctly. For example, revenue and direct time allocation per department will be incorrect if you look at the last month and someone has left the company.
Is there a solution in SQL that allows you to save and retain this history?
Within Invantive Cloud, there is (deliberately) no option to write or retain history.
If long-term storage is needed, a frequently chosen route is to create a small SQL Server database (for example, based on DTUs at S1 level) or a small PostgreSQL database (from an EU perspective). This can, for instance, be linked as an additional data container, after which a copy can be regularly made using a statement like:
insert into target_table@mssql
(...)
select ...
from source_table@tlr
This can also be done via an Invantive Cloud application, which can then be triggered via a URL.
