In my Autotask database I notice the following setting:
SQL Server-compatible Server Name (BETA): acme-autotask.database.invantive.com
I have tried to set up a Power BI SQL Server database connection using that server and my credentials (using basic authentication) but am getting a ‘Connection could not be created’ error.

Please make sure to follow the instructions as described on:
Go to Dutch version
In the “Databases” screen on Invantive Cloud, three links are now visible for connecting to a cloud database:

The first two links are for use with Power BI, Qlik, and Tableau. The third and new link is the name to use when connecting based on the SQL Server network protocol. In the example above, that is:
acme-exact-online.database.invantive.com
In case the problem persists: please describe the exact steps executed with anonymized screenshots.
