Another question from a newbie. How the licensing works for the Jira PowerBI component, I can’t find any clear documentation about this and looks like we are over the license usage limit (due to testing the platform).
Any help is appreciated.
For JIRA and some other platforms such as Freshdesk and Autotask there is a Free Plan (no costs).
The Free Plan subscription can be used for on-premises use (such as with Invantive Query Tool) and with online products (such as Invantive Cloud). For Invantive Cloud fair use limits apply as described in:
The current values for most relevant criteria are:
- Lifetime of cache minimum value: 20 hours
- Daily download size in MB per day (cached and fresh): 500 MB (compressed)
- Daily download size in MB per day (fresh): 250 MB (compressed)
- Maximum number of requests per day (cached and fresh): 500
- Maximum number of requests per day (fresh): 250
- Maximum number of rows (cached and fresh): 10.000.000
- Maximum number of rows (fresh): 1.000.000
What kind of limit did you hit or what was the exact error message?
The standard volume should be sufficient for 250.000-1.000.000 rows of data, depending on width.
When larger volumes are needed, a regular Invantive Office plan might be better suited, but it is recommended to first check whether queries can be optimized using for instance filters as described in the “Fair Use Daily Limits for a Better User Experience”.
