Include recent changes in backing platform into Excel model

Once an Invantive Control for Excel formula has been evaluated, the output is cached in memory for speedier response. This means that you can re-use outcomes from previous calculations in large to very large spreadsheets without performance problems.

However, a side-effect is that recent changes in your backing platform, such as accounting packages Exact Online, Octopus or AFAS, will not be reflected in the outcome of your formulas when you refresh the formulas. These values will even not be incorporated in the outcome when you use a full refresh with Alt + F9.

Execute the following steps to include recent changes in your backing platform into the outcome of the Invantive Excel formulas:

  • Log on again to the same data source.
  • All formulas will be recalculated automatically and will incorporate recent changes.
