I am attempting to follow the instructions to connect to AutoTask and am having problems. I am trying to follow the instructions in this part of the help:

I get this error

The database ‘… - Test Autotask’ could not be opened.
The combinatino of API user ‘…’ and API token is incorrect.
The authentication credentials for Autotask are incorrect.

I setup my API User in Autotask (not from the Integration Manager) and chose the Custom type integration. There is no Invantive - Utilities choice within the integrations of AutoTask or the vendor list.

Any support is appreciated. Am I doing something wrong?

The problem was resolved by using a lower-case user name and generating and saving a new API secret.

In another case, generating a new API secret and saving it fixed the issue too. Maybe Autotask does not save the API secret automatically when showing it?
