Any idea what could be the cause of this?
The problem is similar to PowerBI.com Service OData-download issue: "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.", but not after 5 minutes plus seconds, but a very short time.
Can you include the (anonymized) details of the request in an answer, including the blue title bar with the request ID?

An improvement was taken into production on March 3, 2023 that (if working correctly) will prevent a previous aborted download at a critical moment to automatically cancel also all subsequent downloads with HTTP status 499.
Please add a response in the unlikely event that any future download ends with HTTP status 499 within mere seconds after starting.
