Itgenefd012 with every Exact Online @eol-query: AccountContact GUID with length 60

Since yesterday, our Invantive Cloud App Online modules are failing on Exact Online Belgium with error code itgenefd012.

The error message is:

itgenefd012
A maximum length can only be specified for text and byte array columns.
The column ‘AccountContact’ has data type ‘guid’ and maximum length 60.

I tried to isolate this with two small App Online tests.

Test 1, without Exact Online tables:

This second test fails immediately with the same AccountContact message.

Noteworthy:

  • the query does not use AccountContact;
  • the query does not use SalesOrders;
  • the query does not use PurchaseOrders;
  • the query does not use Accounts;
  • the query only uses Items@eol;
  • an App Online test without @eol works fine.

It seems to go wrong as soon as the Exact Online REST metadata is loaded, even before the actual query is executed.

Environment:

  • Invantive Cloud
  • Exact Online Belgium
  • App Online module

Question:

Could this indicate incorrect metadata/cache/data container information for the Exact Online connector? It seems as if AccountContact is registered somewhere as a guid with a maximum length of 60, whereas a guid column should not have a maximum length.

A data fix for changed specifications within Exact Online has introduced a new error, leading to the itgenefd012 on the Invantive Cloud website when opening the UniversalSQL editor and running applications within Invantive Cloud (thus not via Invantive App Online). Invantive App Online and Invantive Bridge Online do not experience this issue.

A fix for this is expected to be put into production on the Invantive Cloud website by 12 June 2026.
