When using the Sumatra Management Console, a connection can also be made with an Invantive UniversalSQL Server database.
However, in “Catalog” you should not enter the catalog from UniversalSQL. This will result in the message:
itgenssr065
No current database.
Therefore, use the alias of the data container (and thus the name of the SQL Server database in SQL Server Management Studio).
A working example is then:
with:
- Database: an arbitrary name for identification within Sumatra,
- Host: the SQL Server server name,
- Catalog: the alias of the data container within Invantive UniversalSQL,
- Schema: the schema of the tables within Invantive UniversalSQL,
- Username: the Invantive Cloud login code,
- Password: the Invantive Cloud password for the login code.
