Update of Power BI for Visma.net Financials

Visma.net Financials is an accounting package for mid-size companies in Nordics and the Netherlands. In the Netherlands it is used by over 100 mid-size organizations, plus by several large accounting firms for both customer as well as corporate accounting.

The new release of Invantive Cloud extends Visma.net Financials supports by many new tables. Additionally, it fixes a nasty “endless loop” occurring when opening a Visma.net database caused by newly introduced partition-specific rate limiters.

The configuration of the Power BI connector for Visma.net Financials is described on Invantive Cloud. All tables except those with required table function parameters are available in Microsoft Power BI Desktop, the Microsoft Power BI Service as well as Power Query for Excel and Azure Data Factory. No additional driver is necessary thanks to the use of the always by Microsoft included OData4 connection protocol:

The documentation of the tables is available on the documentation section.

Through Invantive Cloud web apps you can also exchange data with other platforms, such as using the standard synchronize SQL statement of Invantive. The Invantive SQL Visma.net driver allows data exchange in both directions: loading data into Visma.net and exporting them. For a sample consult Synchronize Exact Online with Visma.net Financials.

The Visma.net driver for Power BI is available free of charge and free of further obligations for 180 days. Most users are that period use the EUR 49 Invantive Office monthly subscription after the free trial period.

Most customers run Visma.net Financials in combination with Data Replicator given the hundreds of Visma.net companies. A view for the transaction lines is currently lacking; we welcome feedback in this regard.

Please note that Invantive Cloud does not support Visma.net HRM. It however includes support also for Yuki, NMBRS, Visma eAccounting and Visma Severa.
