When updrading the settings.xml file as described here Link Settings.xml to Invantive Cloud Data Containers - Invantive Product Documentation

Even with creating to separate connections

  • one for Invantive Data Hub with the <credentials>,
  • one for Invantive Query Tool without it.

Invantive Query Tool reads the whole settings.xml, and this creates an error:

In case two settings*.xml files are used, does it work then (besides a warning)?

There seems to be a typo in the name. The error message contains node credential while the correct naming is credentials (so with a s).

as for Invantive Query Tool the approach having 2 separate xml files is a workaround. We get a serie of errors when Invantive Query Tool starts, then the containers list is shown without the settings*1.xml containing the <credentials (...) /> tag, only remains the second settings*2.xml.
