I’ve recently signed up and followed the set up for creating a Jira connector.
When I connect in Power BI I get server errors, and a message saying to contact the supplier.
I’ve copied the connector URL and entered the Basic authentication details.
This is the error:
Details:
Microsoft.Mashup.Engine1.Library.Resources.HttpResource:
Request failed:
OData Version: 3 and 4
Error: The remote server returned an error:
(500) Internal Server Error.
(An internal error occurred. Please contact your supplier. (itgentft003, 4da4749b-269b-4a49-a913-bd42bc8c41ec))
For reporting, typically one (virtual) database is created per driver instance (so one data container).
But it is also possible to create a single (virtual) database: create the database with an initial one like ‘JIRA Core’ and then go to “Data Containers”, choose “New” and add ‘JIRA Service Desk’ as an additional data container.
When the cache with the table list (the “EDM cache”) is stale, tables from both will appear in the table list on Power BI and alike.
