Itgeneor229 - no daily capacity remaining available for Exact Online API use

When refreshing data from Exact Online / Invantive Bridge to Azure Data Factory, I get an error message:

{ "code":"itgeneor229","message":"There is no daily capacity remaining available for Exact Online API use on Exact Online division \uxxxxxx - xxxxxxxx (xxxxxxx)\uxxxx. Please optimize your API use, or contact Exact Online Support to acquire more API calls per day than the current limit of 5,000 calls, or try again tomorrow." }

I’ve read a few articles on the forum concerning this message and for me it is unclear if the issue is related to the division specified in the error message, or that is is a general issue of too many API calls (and that specific division was just up in the process).

I found this article on how to monitor API usage:

but the execution of the mentioned statement gives an error (unknown table); could it be possible to update the article with a working statement?

I am having this issue as well since two days ago. Everything worked fine for months and now all of the sudden this error pops up for half of the divisions.

The problem seems related to release 24.0.187 which includes a workaround for an Exact Online bug with (large) companies and the sync API. Release 24.0.187 went into production on May 15 around 20:15 UTC.

This Exact Online bug seems related to upsell of Exact Online Premium. See Ontbrekende Exact Online transacties en data (Dutch only).

The previous release 24.0.185 has been taken into production again, effectively disabling the workaround.

Exact will reset the API limits at 0:00 Saturday morning. After this, the downloads should run again, except for the large companies then again experiencing the Exact Online bug.

Our team will investigate why the workaround caused additional API calls to be consumed and adapt where possible.

To analyse the itgeneor229 on Invantive Cloud, the best articles are:

An improved version has gone into production, which also works around a new Exact Online bug which led to data missing on *Incremental tables.
